(Defenselink -- August 01, 2002) ARMY TRW Systems, Carson, Calif., is being awarded a $10,959,631 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for design, development, integration, testing, fielding, training, and support of the Forward Area Air Defense Command and Control Foreign Military Sales system. Work will be performed in Carson, Calif (20 percent) and Huntsville, Ala. (80 percent), and is to be completed by June 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on June 1, 2002. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-02-C-0106).
