(Defenselink -- August 23, 2002) Atlantic Research Corp., Solid Propulsion Division, Camden, Ark., is being awarded a $20,192,820 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-00-C-5378) for the procurement of 160 MOD 2 MK 104 dual thrust rocket motors, two MOD 2 inerts and 108 upgraded rocket motors in support of the STANDARD Missile Program. This contract modification combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (71%) and the governments of Korea (28%) and Spain (1%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Camden, Ark. (95%), and Gainesville, Va. (5%), and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
