(Defenselink -- August 28, 2002) McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $7,544,144 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-00-C-0363) for the procurement of long lead items needed to remanufacture three Spanish AV-8B aircraft for the Government of Spain under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
