NAVY 

(Defenselink -- September 06, 2002) Planning Consultants Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $13,752,018 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification under a previously awarded contract (N00178-98-C-2006) to exercise an option for engineering and technical services relative to fiscal year 2003 advanced technology support for the Aegis combat system and future combat systems. This effort combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (98%) and the governments of Spain (1%) and Japan (1%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va. (80%), and Virginia Beach, Va. (20%), and is expected to be completed by September 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $471,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Va., is the contracting agency.

 

(Defenselink -- September 06, 2002) Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $10,273,098 firm-fixed-price order against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00019-00-G-0280) for the procurement of 58 various spare parts needed to upgrade Japanese E-2C aircraft to the Hawkeye 2000 Export configuration for the government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by August 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
