NAVY

(Defenselink -- September 27, 2002) Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, is being awarded a $21,471,821 firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacture of six AN and APS-137C(V)5 radar weapons replaceable assemblies for the U.S. Navy's P-3 Anti-Submarine Warfare Improvement Program (P-3 AIP) aircraft; the modification of six control indicators for incorporation into APS-137C(V)5 radar; non-recurring engineering to replace obsolete components within the AN/APS-137(V)5; and two Inverted Synthetic Aperture Radar module shop replaceable assemblies for the government of Japan. Work will be performed in McKinney (85 percent); Dallas (13 percent); and St. Petersburg, Fla. (two percent), and is to be completed in August 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (99.5 percent) and the government of Japan (one-half percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-02-C-3068).

 

(Defenselink -- September 27, 2002) Anteon Corp., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $5,023,915 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00178-02-C-2001) to exercise an option for continuing technical and administrative support for Surface Combat System Configuration Management Support. This modification combines support with the U.S. Navy (99 percent) and the Government of Spain (one percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va. (71 percent); Bath, Maine (13 percent); Pascagoula, Miss. (13 percent); and Moorestown, N.J. (3 percent), and is expected to by completed by September 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $85,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity.
