NAVY

(Defenselink -- October 01, 2002) McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $12,391,680 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-00-C-0307) for the low-rate-initial-production of 85 AV-8B advanced mission computers for the U.S. Navy (55 each) and the governments of Italy (19 each) and Spain (11 each). Work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minn. (90%) and St. Louis, Mo. (10%), and will be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (65%) and the governments of Italy (22%) and Spain (13%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent  River, Md., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

(Defenselink -- October 01, 2002) General Dynamics Decision Systems, Scottsdale, Ariz., was awarded on Sept. 30, 2002, a delivery order amount of $833,734 as part of a $100,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for foreign military sales worldwide customers for various commercial equipment and training. Work will be performed in Scottsdale, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 7, 2002. The U. S. Army Communications- Electronics Command Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-02-D-M026).
