(Defenselink -- October 25, 2002) Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $43,257,562 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for the purchase of 142 Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missiles (Air Intercept Missile - 120 C5 and C7 missiles) among U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and foreign military sales customers, 11 Missiles Warranties, 1 Lot of C5 Spares of foreign military sales, and 2 Lots of foreign military offset administration. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by August 2004. The Counterair Joint Systems Program Office, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-02-C-0001-P00007).
