(Defenselink -- October 31, 2002) Breeze-Eastern, Union, N.J., is receiving a $6,542,178 firm-fixed-price contract for 102 power drum winch assemblies used on the H-60 helicopter. This contract also includes the purchase of one power drum winch assembly for Taiwan under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Union, N.J., and is to be completed by November 2004. The contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured, with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia is the contracting activity (N00383-03-C-N010).
