AIR FORCE

(Defenselink -- November 27, 2002) Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $12,817,300 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to provide an extension of the support for F-16 DT&E tests at Edwards Air Force Base and Eglin Air Force Base. The support is currently being provided by Falcon 2020 Delivery Order 0544 "Baseline Support for F-16 DT&E Flight Test at Edwards and Eglin Air Force Bases. This effort supports foreign military sales to Belgium, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark, Greece (Peace Xenia III), and Israel (Peace Marble V), and Peace Fenghuang (Taiwan). At this time, $12,669,113 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be completed by November 2003. The negotiations were completed by November 2002. The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F42620-01-D-0058 SC10).

(Defenselink -- November 27, 2002) Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $7,194,153 firm-fixed-price contract modification to upgrade the M3 Kit Production Installation (Phase 3) Mod S Level II and IBU for European participating Air Forces. This effort supports foreign military sales to Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, and Portugal. At this time, $3,597,077 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be completed by June 2007. The negotiations were completed in November 2002. The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-00-C-2189, P00015).

NAVY

(Defenselink -- November 27, 2002) McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis is receiving a $15,886,000 ceiling-price-order for continuing support of various systems at the avionics repair facilities at Naval Air Station Lemoore and Naval Air Station Cecil Field. This order combines requirements with the U.S. Navy and the countries of Spain, Kuwait and Switzerland under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Less than two percent of the total funds are for FMS customers. Work will be performed in Lemoore, Calif. (60 percent) and Cecil Field, Fla. (40 percent), and is to be completed by September 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia is the contracting activity (N00383-02-G-001H) (Order 0015).
