(Defenselink -- February 05, 2003) Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $9,700,000 ceiling-priced delivery order against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00019-00-G-0280) for a Hawkeye 2000 export avionics kit which will improve the radar systems, identification friend or foe system, receiver and transmitter navigation system and mission computer for a Japanese E-2C aircraft under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y., and is to be completed in October 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
