(Defenselink -- April 23, 2003) Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded an estimated $29,658,706 modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-5330) to exercise an option to provide engineering and technical services in support of the Standard Missile-2 guided missile program. The modification satisfies requirements for the governments of Spain (90%) and the Netherlands (10%), under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC, is the contracting activity.
