(Defenselink -- May 2, 2003)  Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $6,567,102 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-99-C-5473) to exercise an option to fund fiscal year 2003 production support for the Evolved SEASPARROW Missile Program. This procurement supports the funding for the countries of Australia (24%), Germany (19%), The Netherlands (18%), Canada (14%), Norway (7%), Spain (6%), Denmark (5%), Turkey (4%) and Greece (3%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (35.7%); Andover, Mass. (8.9%); Camden, Ark. (2.9%); Minneapolis, Minn. (1.5%); Australia (12%); Germany (10%); The Netherlands (9%); Toronto, Canada (7%); Norway (4%); Spain (3%); Denmark (2%); Greece (2%); and Turkey (2%) and is expected to be completed by January 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
