(Defenselink -- July 17, 2003) Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded a $32,368,432 cost-plus-incentive-fee/cost-plus-award-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-6207) to exercise an option to provide systems engineering and technical services and production of five CCS MK2 Block 1C ECP004 (AN/BYG-1) Mod 6 variants that will be installed on Royal Australian Navy Collins Class submarine platforms. Funding of this option is 100% for the government of Australia under Foreign Military Sales. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, R.I., and is expected to be completed by April 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
