(Defenselink -- October 3, 2003) Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems & Sensors, Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded a $11,232,318 cost-plus-incentive-fee, firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-6313) for production of AN/SQQ-89 (V) Anti-Submarine Warfare Combat Systems and design and integration of an AN/SQQ(V)15/(V)15 superset configuration that incorporates commercial-off-the-shelf-based improvements. Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by January 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification is being accomplished in support of the government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sale Program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
