(Defenselink -- October 15, 2003) Lockheed Martin Corporation, Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $127,154,351 firm-fixed-priced modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-98-C-5363) for the production of MK 41 Vertical Launching Systems and ancillary hardware in support of the Government of Korea under the Foreign Military Sales requirements. The contractor will provide materials and services for refurbished fixtures and transportation equipment, on-board spares and repair parts and depot spares for the KDX-III MK 41 Vertical Launching System, in support of Standard SM-2 Block IIIA Missiles. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md. (100%) and is expected to be completed by October 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
