(Defenselink -- November 5, 2003) BAE Systems Applied Technologies Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $21,470,781 modification under a previously awarded contract (N00024-00-C-5395) to exercise an option to provide Standard Missile Program system integration agent engineering for in-service weapon systems and deliver MK 14 weapons direction system upgrades for the Republic of Korea Navy. This modification combines support of the U.S. Navy (79 percent) and the Republic of Korea (21 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Silver Spring, Md., and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
