(Defenselink -- December 5, 2003) Valero Marketing and Supply Co., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $66,485,588 fixed-price with economic price adjustment type of contract for fuel for foreign military sales. Work will also be performed in Corpus Christi, Texas. Performance completion date is expected to be Dec. 31, 2008. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were nine proposals solicited, and five responded. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-04-D-0454).
