(Defenselink -- December 23, 2003) McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $166,732,000 firm fixed price contract modification to provide for sustainment of the fleet of C-17 aircraft from January through February 2004. Approximately 3% of this effort supports foreign military sales to the United Kingdom. The locations of performance are: McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif. (43%); Pratt & Whitney, 500 Knotter Drive, Chesshire, Conn. 06410 (32%), and other locations. At this time, $126,049,000 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete by October 2008. Solicitation began January 2003 and Negotiations were completed November 2003. The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8614-04-C-2004, P00005).

 

(Defenselink -- December 23, 2003) EFW Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $32,575,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for Common Data Entry Electronics Unit, Electronics LRU that acts an interface between pilot entry and cockpits displays. A quantity of 694 each will be procured in support of USAF requirements, and an estimated quantity of 609 in support of Foreign Military Sales requirements. This is in support of the Improved Item Replacement Program applicable to the F-16 aircraft. No funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2008. Negotiations were completed October 2003. The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8212-04-D-0001).
