On Wednesday 26 March at 1600, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency signed a memorandum of understanding with Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy signifying a major step forward in implementing DSCA participation in Tufts Global Master of Arts Program
(GMAP). DSCA plans to enroll some of its own personnel and
other personnel throughout the security cooperation
community
in the program. The GMAP program is designed to improve the
quality and professionalism of the security cooperation
workforce and will be a key step in developing that workforce
for the future. The memorandum of understanding was signed by
Lt. Gen. Tome Walters, Director of the Defense Security
Cooperation Agency, and Dean Stephen Bosworth, Dean of the
Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. General Walters and Dean
Bosworth discussed the program and its implications for the
security cooperation community.
