(Defenselink -- January 29, 2004) United Defense LP, Santa Clara, Calif., was awarded on Jan. 23, 2004, a $7,026,318 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for systems technical support/logistics services in support of in-production and out-of-production Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems (BFVS), Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS), foreign military sales and BFVS and MLRS derivative vehicles. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 26, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on Dec. 28, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-M011).
