U.S. NAVY

(Defenselink -- March 3, 2004) Lockheed Martin, Maritime Systems & Sensors, Moorestown, N. J., is being awarded a $38,696,328 fixed-priced-incentive, not-to-exceed modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-01-C-5168) for the KDX-III Korea Combat System, including Korean Interface Function (KIF), Anti-Submarine Weapon Control System-Korea (ASWCS-K), and Q-70 consoles and display. Work will be performed in Eagan, Minn. (52 percent); The Republic of Korea (39 percent); and Moorestown, N.J. (9 percent), and is expected to be completed by November 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification supports the Republic of Korea under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

U.S. AIR FORCE

(Defenselink -- March 3, 2004) Raytheon Co. Tucson, Ariz, is being awarded a $52,656,894 firm fixed price contract. This action exercises an option of 106 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) Air Intercept Missile (AIM)-120 C5 Foreign Missiles Sales, 2 AMRAAM air vehicles instrumented, 2 lots missile offset administration, 1 lot software configuration management, 1 lot spares offset administration, and 2 non-developments item-airborne instrumentation units. This effort supports foreign military sales to Greece and Sweden. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by August 2005. AAC/YAK is the contracting activity (F08635-03-C-0031, P00016).
