(Defenselink -- March 4, 2004) Raytheon Missile Systems Co., d/b/a Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $175,925,000 ceiling-priced undefinitized contract action for the procurement of approximately 225 Tomahawk Block IV cruise missiles, as well as a performance verification test for low rate initial production three (LRIP-3). It also includes two guidance test sets (GTS), and GTS spare and repair parts for the United Kingdom. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed in April 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (97.5%; $170,925,000 ceiling) and the United Kingdom (2.5%; $5,000,000 ceiling) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity (N00019-04-C-0021).
