(Defenselink -- March 12, 2004) Lockheed Martin, Naval Maritime, Systems & Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $6,957,996 cost-plus-fee not-to-exceed modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-00-C-5147) for basic command and control installation, test and correction; upgrade and redelivery of the Aegis computer program with Link 16 enabled; and computer program maintenance and fleet introduction operating environment to support the Norwegian Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed in July 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
