(Defenselink -- 03 May 2004) ATK Tactical Systems Co. LLC, Rocket Center, W. Va., is being awarded a $5,233,586 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 386 MK-58 MOD 6/7 rocket motors for the Navy (321 MK-58 MOD 6), and for the governments of Germany (58 MK-58 MOD 6), Denmark (4 MK-58 MOD 6), and Kuwait (3 MK-58 MOD 7). Work will be performed in Rocket Center, W. Va., and is expected to be completed in October 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. This contract combines purchases for the Navy ($4,325,796; 82.6 percent) and the governments of Germany ($810,028; 15.5 percent); Denmark ($55,864; 1.1 percent); and Kuwait ($41,898; .8 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-04-C-0019). 

 

(Defenselink -- 03 May 2004) BAE Systems, Nashua, N.H., is being awarded a $5,200,101 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-03-C-0050) to exercise an option for the procurement of four OE-120 antenna groups for the Navy (3) and for the government of Japan (1). The OE-120 antenna group is one of two major subsystems that provide a centralized identification system for fleet tactical ships, including DDG-51, CVN and foreign military sales (FMS) class ships. Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed in September 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the Navy ($3,643,707; 70 percent) and the government of Japan ($1,556,394; 30 percent) under the FMS Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
