U.S. NAVY
(Defenselink -- 1 September 2004) Northrop Grumman Defense Mission Systems Inc., Reston, Va., is being awarded a $9,517,433 option to a previously awarded contract (N000178-04-C-2006) for engineering support for the development, installation, integration, maintenance and testing of Combat System Simulation and Stimulation equipment for the AEGIS Program. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va. (50 percent); San Diego, Calif. (20 percent); Mount Laurel, N.J. (15 percent); Arlington, Va. (10 percent); and New Church, Va. (5 percent) and is expected to be completed September 2005. This awarded combines support services for the U.S. Navy (99 percent) and the governments of Japan (.25 percent); Spain (.25 percent); Norway (.25 percent); and Korea (.25 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division is the contracting activity.
