(Defenselink -- 17 September 2004) General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded an $8,509,132 priced order under a basic ordering agreement contract (N00383-00-G-0001) for procurement of line items supporting the F404 engine (F/A-18 aircraft) for Kuwait under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed at Lynn, Mass., and work is expected to be completed by January 2006. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (Order 5095).
