(Defenselink -- 22 October 2004) Advanced Information Engineering Services Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $5,246,051 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity time-and-materials contract (N00421-00-D-0126) to provide technical, engineering, management, and financial support services for the acquisition and production of F/A-18A-F and EA-18G aircraft for the U.S. Navy and the Governments of Spain, Canada, Germany, Australia, Finland, Malaysia, and Kuwait. The estimated level of effort for this option is 85,579 man-hours. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed by May 2005. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($3,161,270; 60.26 percent); and the Governments of Australia ($644,215; 12.28 percent); Canada ($439,619; 8.38 percent); Finland ($435,947; 8.31 percent); Kuwait ($315,288; 6.01 percent); Malaysia ($193,579; 3.69 percent); Spain ($48,788; 0.93 percent); and Germany ($7,344; 0.14 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
