(Defenselink -- 20 December 2004) Rockwell Collins Government Systems Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded an $8,646,260 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract (N00019-02-C-3004) to exercise an option for AN/ARC-210(V) Electronic Protection Radio Systems for the Governments of Australia and Canada. This modification consists of 110 each RT-1794C Receiver Transmitters and HAVEQUICK Royalty Fee-Category I licenses for the Canada Maritime Surveillance Helicopter, and 41 each RT-1794(C) Receiver Transmitters and HAVEQUICK Royalty Fee-Category I licenses for the Australia Wedgetail. Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expected to be completed in December 2006. This contract combines purchases for the governments of Canada ($6,298,600; 73 percent) and Australia ($2,347,660; 27 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
