(Defenselink -- 21 December 2004) Raytheon Co. Space and Airborne Systems, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $19,042,548 firm fixed price contract to provide for three radio frequency miniature airborne Global Positioning System receiver 2000 units with warranty, 22 radio frequency miniature airborne Global Positioning System receiver 2000 Foreign Military Sales with warranty, 16 radio frequency miniature airborne Global Positioning Receiver 2000-selective availability anti-spoofing module with warranty, seven radio frequency miniature airborne Global Positioning System receiver 2000-selective availability anti-spoofing module Foreign Military Sales with warranty, nine production selective availability anti-spoofing module-based Global Positioning System (service certification), miniature airborne Global Positioning System Receiver 2000-selective availability anti-spoofing module, and one lot of Program Management. This effort supports foreign military sales to Japan, Canada, Italy, and Bahrain. At this time, $14,281,911 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2006. Solicitation began November 2004 and negotiations were completed December 2004. The Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (FA8807-05-D-0001).
