U.S. NAVY

(Defenselink -- 23 December 2004) Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,000,500 firm-fixed-priced order against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-04-G-0003) for the Third Hawkeye 2000 export Spare parts acquisition for the Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) E-2C Upgrade Program under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y. (55 percent); Garland, Texas (18 percent); Greenlawn, N.Y. (9 percent); Johnson City, N.Y. (8 percent); Bethpage, N.Y. (6 percent); Woodland Hills, Calif. (3 percent); Ontario, Canada (.5 percent); St. Augustine, Fla. (.3 percent); and Ft. Worth, Texas (.2 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

 

(Defenselink -- 23 December 2004) Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $15,249,426 firm-fixed-priced order against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-04-G-0003) for CY 2005 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Sustaining Engineering (SE) Services in support of the E-2 aircraft program. This contract combines purchases for the Government of Taiwan ($6,615,000; 43.38 percent); the Government of Egypt ($3,539,442; 23.20 percent); the Government of France ($2,809,992; 18.43 percent); the Government of Japan ($1,695,000; 11.12 percent); and the Government of Singapore ($589,992; 3.87 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y. (70 percent); Patuxent River, Md. (5 percent); Paris, France (5 percent); Cairo, Egypt (5 percent); Tokyo, Japan (5 percent); Singapore (5 percent); and Taipei, Taiwan (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

 

(Defenselink -- 23 December 2004) Litton Systems Inc., Navigation Systems Div., Woodland Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $8,515,890 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00421-01-C-0260) for the procurement of 52 Carrier Aircraft Inertial Navigation Set (CAINS) II CN-1649/ASN-139 Inertial Navigation Units and 52 MT-6436/ASN-139 Inertial Mounts for the U.S. Navy F/A-18 E/F aircraft (42 each) and the E-2C aircraft (4 each) and for the Government of Japan’s E-2C aircraft (6 each). Work will be performed in Salt Lake City, Utah (90 percent) and Woodland Hills, Calif. (10 percent) and is expected to be completed in February 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($7,527,348; 88.4 percent) and the Government of Japan ($988,542; 11.6 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
