(Defenselink -- 27 January 2005) Lockheed Martin, Maritime Systems and Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded an $89,351,118 cost-plus-award-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-5101) for Combat Systems Engineering requirements for Japanese Ship DDG 2318. This modification shall also provide technical documentation, integrated logistics support services, program management, and staging of equipment, materials and training. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (91 percent), and Japan (9 percent), and is expected to be completed by March 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification supports the Government of Japan (100 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
