U.S. NAVY
(Defenselink -- 28 January 2005) Engineering Management Concepts, Inc., Camarillo, Calif., is being awarded a $10,710,232 ceiling-priced indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity delivery order contract to provide specialized technical services in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Pt. Mugu’s Range Department. Services to be provided include test planning and scheduling, operational support, analysis, and reporting to support the Range Department in its participation in the Pacific Broad Area Test Bed, and will serve a broad variety of test and evaluation customers, including various Foreign Military Sales customers. The estimated level of effort for this contract is 104,811 man-hours. Work will be performed in Pt. Mugu, Calif., and is expected to be completed in September 2010. Contract funds in the amount of $1,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. (Defenselink -- 28 January 2005) Advanced Information Engineering Services, Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., is being awarded a $5,406,114 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-02-C-3017) to exercise an option for technical services in support of F/A-18, T-45, EA-6B, AV-8B, JSF, and X-31 aircraft located at the Naval Strike Aircraft Test Squadron located onboard the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Md. Services to be provided include test planning and operation services, functional engineering support, documentation support, flight operations coordination support and corporate operations/systems support. Services will be provided for the U.S. Navy ($4,534,761; 83.9 percent); U.S. Air Force ($785,968; 14.5 percent); and the governments of Australia ($24,885; .5 percent); Switzerland ($18,900; .4 percent); Canada ($29,000; .5 percent); and Finland ($12,600; .2 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in January 2006. Contract funds in the amount of $51,064 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
U.S. AIR FORCE
(Defenselink -- 28 January 2005) Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $14,000,008 times and
materials contract to provide for Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile technical support to include efforts for the Air Force and Navy, with the capability to add Army and Marine Corps effort in the future, Missile Rail Launcher, F-16 SPO, and twenty-four foreign military sales countries. At this time, $3,614,398 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by January 2006. Solicitation began November 2004 and negotiations were completed January 2005. The Headquarters Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA8675-05-C-0032).
