(Defenselink -- 7 March 2005) Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded an $18,102,380 cost-plus-fixed-fee, incentive-fee contract modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-5123) to procure engineering services and material to support operations and maintain Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and facilities at AEGIS shore sites and centers in Moorestown, N.J. This modification is to definitize and fully fund the first year of a planned five-year (base year and four options) contract. This contract combines support for the U.S. Navy (57 percent) and the Governments of Japan (28 percent); Spain (6.4 percent); Korea (5 percent); and Norway (3.6 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by May 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
(Defenselink -- 7 March 2005) Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $14,014,073 firm-fixed-priced delivery order against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-04-G-0003). This order provides for the manufacture of engineering change proposal kits for the E-2C Group O Hawkeye (ECP-422-R1, Kit 9, 15-ton Enhanced Vapor Cycle and ECP-411-R1 200 Export Configuration Upgrade) for the Government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in December 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
