(Defenselink -- 23 March 2005) Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $265,971,109 firm fixed price modification for production of the fiscal 2005 STANDARD Missile-2 BLOCK IIIA All-Up-Rounds (AUR), BLOCK IIIB AUR, BLOCK IIIB ORDALT kits, AN/DKT-71A Telemetric Data Transmitting Sets (TDTS’s) and section level spares. The contract also includes procurement of 99 SM-2 BLOCK IIIA AUR, 64 SM-2 BLOCK IIIB AUR, 51 AN/DKT-71A TDTS with Installation Kits, 25 various foreign military sales spare sections and 161 shipping containers for the governments of Japan (20.53 percent); the Netherlands (15.52 percent); Germany (14.08 percent); Taiwan (1.80 percent); Canada (.40 percent); and Korea (.02 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (56 percent), Andover, Mass. (23 percent), Camden, Ark. (20 percent), Farmington, N.M. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by December 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. (N00024-04-C-5342)
