(Defenselink -- 28 March 2005) Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $7,165,560 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed price contract (N00019-03-C-0003) to convert 414 AIM-9M-2 missiles for the Government of Egypt and for the procurement of 36 Guidance Control Sections and 7 containers for the Czech Republic. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed in March 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification combines purchases for the Government of Egypt ($4,119,300; 57.49 percent) and the Czech Republic ($3,046,260; 42.51 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
