(Defenselink -- 22 November 2006) Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $82,656,732 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed fee contract modification. This contract modification exercises production options for the purchase of 37,787 defense advanced GPS receivers (DAGRs) and accessories. The DAGR will provide authorized Department of Defense and foreign military sales users of Global Positioning System user equipment a precise positioning system, hand-held, dual-frequency, lightweight receiver (less than one pound) that incorporates the next generation, tamper-resistant GPS selective availability anti-spoofing module security module. The DAGR will serve as a replacement for the Precision Lightweight GPS Receiver in integrated platforms as well as for the advanced and basic GPS user. At this time, total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete October 2008. Headquarters Global Positioning Systems Wing, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-02-C-0011/P00050).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

(Defenselink -- 22 November 2006) Exxon Mobil Fuels Marketing Company, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a maximum $21,955,740 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for gasoline for foreign military sales. Location of performance is Beaumont, Texas. This is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Proposals were Web-solicited and 4 responded. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Date of performance completion is January 30, 2008. Contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC), Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-07-D-0451).
