(Defenselink -- 7 December 2006) Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ, is being awarded a $20,593,236 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification for the development and procurement of additional tooling and test equipment in support of the continued development and delivery of Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Block IA missiles to meet U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements in support of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) system. The work will be performed in Tucson, AZ and is expected to be complete by November 2007. The funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year for this sole source effort. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC is the contracting activity (N00024-03-C-6111).
