(Defenselink --3 July 2007) Communications and Power Industries, Inc, MPP-Division, Palo Alto, Calif., was awarded a $10,636,814 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract on June 29, 2007, for production of traveling wave tubes supporting the NULKA Missile decoy system program. Work will be performed in Palo Alto, Calif., and is expected to be completed by June 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. This contract combines support of the U.S. Navy (97.5 percent) and Government of Canada (2.5 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-07-D-8912).
