EXCESS DEFENSE ARTICLES BULLETIN BOARD

This clearinghouse for information regarding transfers of Excess Defense Articles (EDA) has been developed in response to a directive contained in the DOD Appropriation Bill, 1993 (Report 102-408) by the Senate Committee on Appropriations.

The Office of the Secretary of Defense, disposes of EDA in support of American foreign policy objectives.

The agency which has the responsibility for the EDA program is the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). DSCA transfers Excess Defense Articles for security assistance and counter narcotics purposes
