Forecast Detailed Requirements

DSCA is now using an Access 2007 Database for submission of the Sales Forecast
and Javits data. You will need to
open the zipped file and save it to your drive.
If an "OPTION" button appears at the top of the screen, click on it.
The Security Alert pop-up will appear.
Click on the "Enable this content" radio button then click on the "OK"
button.
Security Cooperation Organizations (SCOs)
1)
Be sure to read the instructions as the process to submit has changed this
year. There is no longer an Excel
worksheet, you will use the entry form that opens after you download.
2)
Use this file for your submission.
DO NOT use previous Excel worksheets.
This is now an Access program and must be submitted using this file.
You will be able to view your submission in Excel, but that is for
viewing purposes only.
3)
You may find the checklist in the orientation brief helpful.
4)
Enter dollar values in Millions e.g. $1,000,000 would be entered as 1.000
5)
If an Item Description is longer than 255 characters an "Error" message will
appear. If this happens, click on
the tab titled "Reference - MASL Description" and copy and paste the
description or type it in the field.
6)
Send your submissions to your Combatant Command; zip the file before sending..
Combatant Command (CCMDs)
1)
You will receive individual country files.
Those files will need to be unzipped and saved to your drive.
You can create a CCMD database by appending each country file.
