IPT #1 - Personnel and Training Security Assistance Workforce Analysis A DISAM faculty team presented a summary of this study to the Director, DSCA, on 23 February 2001. Read a short summary of the report or download a complete copy here. On 7 Dec 01, Director, DSCA approved Certification and Career Development Guidelines for our International Affairs civilian workforce. The Guidelines articulate job experience, training and education requirements for three levels of certification. MILDEPs are currently developing service-specific guidelines. IPT #4 - Business Processes Process Transparency White Paper (approved 1/26/99) Additional Information: We are currently working on enhancements to the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) which will allow us to electronically coordinate and countersign Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) documents. A process incorporating e-mail and DSAMS was successfully fielded in August 2001. These changes will not only improve the timeliness of our coordination process, but will also increase the consistency and quality of our reviews [more].
